CASE #: 14-0771 - Gun Shots Fired At Vehicle        Anonymous Tip Form

Sunday, March 09, 2014 at 10:26 pm, West York Borough Police responded to a 911 call reporting gun shots fired from a vehicle, targeting a second vehicle,  in the 1100 block of W. Princess St. in West York Borough.    Both vehicles were observed travelling at a high rate of speed eastbound from Richland Avenue towards Hoke Street, along W. Princess St.

Monday, March 10, 2014, WYBPD located two individuals (victims) who stated they were driving through York City when two other vehicles – a black Honda SUV and a white sedan – began chasing them.  These vehicles attempted to box or trap the victims’ vehicle at the intersection of S. Richland and College Avenues.  The victims were able to maneuver around this blocking tactic, eventually traveling west on W. Princess St. entering West York Borough.   The black Honda SUV got behind the victims vehicle in the 1000 block W. Princess St. and the passenger began firing several rounds from a firearm towards the victims, chasing them along W. Princess St.

WYBPD identified one suspect as Anthony Lamont Real, 21-years-old, residing within the 800 block of W. King St. York City, as the passenger of the black Honda SUV who was allegedly shooting a firearm.

Later Monday evening, @ 9:30PM, WYBPD assisted by York City PD, executed a search warrant at Real’s residence and successfully placed him into custody.

Anthony Real was charged for his involvement.

WYBPD is still seeking information on the driver of the black Honda SUV, described as a Hispanic Male mid-late 30’s, who is believed to also been firing a handgun.
