DOMESTIC ALTERCATION MAN W/ KNIFE - 1700 BLOCK W. PHILADELPHIA ST.

4/12/14 @ 7:12 P.M. - WYBPD were radio dispatched to respond to an aparment within the 1700 block of W. Philadelphia St., for a report of a physical domestic altercation involving three subjects. An adult male was to have struck another person with a cane and was now threatening to kill the victim with a large butcher knife.
@ 7:14 P.M. - WYBPD arrived on scene and seperated the quarrelling parties and identiifed the perpretrator as Irving BRUBAKER, 54 Y.O.A. W/M resding within the 1700 block of W. Philadelphia St., West York Borough.
BRUBAKER had previously attended a carnival at the York Fairgrounds along with his 41 YO.A. female friend and her 9 Y.O.A. son who reside in West Manchester Township. At some point an argument ensued that continued to BRUBAKER's apartment. BRUBAKER allegedly struck the nine year old boy with his cane a few times and then threatened to kill the boy with a large butcher knife.
BRUBAKER also allegedly discarded a glass pipe that he uses to smoke crack cocaine into a dumpster located to the rear of his residence.
A WYBPD patrolman took BRUBAKER into custody and then recovered the crack pipe from the dumpster. BRUBAKER was then transported to Central Booking and was arrainged on the following charges:
1) Terroristic Threats - misdemeanor of the 2nd degree offense
2) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - misdemeanor offense
3) Harassment - summary offense
BRUBAKER was also on probation at the time of this offense, for a prior criminal violation.
MDJ Laird, the duty magistrate, set BRUBAKER's bail at $7,500.
