COMPUTER VIRUS / FRAUD REPORT - 1700 BLK ORANGE ST
3/28/2014 - 12:02:00 PM

On 3/28/14 @ 12:02 P.M. - An 33 YOA male and 29 YOA female, husband and wife, who reside within the 1700 block of Orange Street, walked into WYBPD station to make a the following report.

Both the male and female stated that they were incarcerated for the past 10 days and were released yesterday the 27th.  During their period of incarceration, the adult male reported that another unknown male prisoner spoke to him about a "cool sci-fi movie with all kinds of monsters and aliens - titled BESTIALITY."

On 3/28/14 @ 11:40 A.M. - This adult male stated that he went to his wife's stepfather's home, also located within the 1700 block of Orange St., for the purpose of accessing the step father's home computer to search for and watch this movie.

After performing an internet search and then clicking on a program titled "Bestiality" he saw video images of females engaging in oral sex with horses, that reportedly sickened him.  However, and before he was able to close out of this site, the computer froze and a pop-up window appeared on the screen that showed a mirror image of himself.  Apparently, this image was from the webcam affixed to the PC, which then a message appeared on the computer screen threatening to turn him into ICE - Homeland Security Department, unless he made payment of $300 via an electronic moneygram within 24 hours.

Both parties were advised that the Sexual Intercourse with an Animal is a misdemeanor crime of the second degree in Pennsylvania, and that federal law enforcment agencies would not contact a person via the internet, threaten arrest or receive payment and that this was a fraudulent scam orchestrated by an unknown party.

Incident referred to the ICE / Department of Homeland Security for investigation.
