On 3/2/13 @ 11:54 P.M. - WYBPD observed a green Buick sedan travelling within the 1100 block of W. King St.  The patrolman observed that this vehicle's registration plate was suspended for insurance cancellation.    The patrolman then signaled for the operator of this vehicle to stop, which he did, but only after striking the curb, bouncing off into the street and strike the curb a second time.

This operator identified himself as Joshua MYERS, 25 Y.O.A. W/M to be residing within the 1200 block of W. A hypodermic syringe was also located within his vehicle.   After being advised of his rights, MYERS informed the patrolman that he had a "heroin problem."    A driver's license check also revealed that MYER's operating privilege was also currently suspended by PennDOT.  Within MYER's wallet, seven (7) heroin packets were also recovered, tested and then placed into evidence.

MYERS was then  transported to Central Booking for blood testing and to be processed fro the following criminal charges:

1) DUI General Impairment
2) DUI Controlled Substance
3) Operating while Driver's License Suspended
4) Operating with a Suspended Registration
