DOMESTIC ALTERCATION - SHELLY SCHOOL APARTMENTS

On 2/16/13 @ 5:00 P.M. - WYBPD radio dispatched to respond to the Turkey Hill Minit Market, 1500 W. Market St., for a report of a physical domestic altercation involving a knife.  Incident to have occurred previously at Shelly School Apartments, 201 N. Adams St., 12 Y.O.A    juvenile victim, the reporting party, to have then fled apartment house and to be now at the Turkey Hill requesting WYBPD response.
 
@ 5:02 P.M. - Patrolmen arrived on scene of the Turkey Hill and received the juvenile's report and details of the domestic altercation involving the mother.  
 
Contact was then immediately made with the mother, and the Crisis Unit of a local hospital.  Additonal witnesses were also interviewed, and all information contradicted the inital report and 911 call made by this 12 Y.O.A distressed female juvenile.  
 
This investigation determined that false infomration was made first to York County Control and then again to WYBPD.  No weapon was to have been involved and it was determined that the reporting female juvenile was actually the aggressor in this incident.  This female juvenile was then warned by WYBPD concenring the filing of false reports and the criminal consequense of same.
 
The mother then took charge of her child from WYBPD to pursue additional mental health treatment options.
